On August 16th, 2019, the website for a conference at Northwestern University, found at http://conference.faminst.northwestern.edu/, was compromised. The attacker, known as LxG_9 from the Garuda Tersakti 72 group, utilized social engineering techniques to breach the site, resulting in defacement.
